Toon Boom Animate: Forward Walk Cycle [PREMIUM]

A walk cycle? With no legs??

Hey Campers, Tony Ross of tonyteach.com here. In this premium Toon Boom Animate tutorial, we create a forward walk-cycle (no legs involved).

This tutorial is based on anime and old-school limited animation, like Scooby Doo. Whenever you would see a character walking toward the camera, they would only be shown from the waist up. This was used as an option, when time and budget were tight, as it takes longer to create a convincing forward walk cycle when the legs are visible.

This Premium tutorial is 26 min long, and normally priced at $2.95, but for a limited time, you can get this for just $1.

All the best-
Tony Ross

Into the Woods Music Video by Adam Phillips

Here is another great piece created by Adam Phillips, one of the most proficient Animate Pro users. This music video is for Cilla Jane, an independent singer/songwriter from Melbourne, Australia. “Into the Woods” is a track from her new album called ‘Until Morning Comes’, which is available on iTunes.

Check out the video:

Here is what Adam stated: “The animation was done 100% with Toonboom Animate Pro. It’s entirely 2D, I’ve used Toonboom’s morphing to achieve some of the 3D-ish effects, like the fox head and girl turnaround.”
